Clip Transcript

GET/v1/twitch/clip/transcript1 credit

Returns a transcript of a clip's speech. Twitch clips have no captions, so the text comes from AI speech-to-text when you opt in with `use_ai_as_fallback=true`.

02Pricing

Without `use_ai_as_fallback=true`: 0 credits (no transcript). With it: 1 credit for a clip up to 120 seconds; with `allow_long_transcription=true`, longer clips cost 10 credits per started minute. A clip with no speech costs 0 credits.

Common to every endpoint

Any route can answer these: a missing or wrong key, no credits left, the platform not answering, or a failure on our side. None of them costs credits.

05Notes

The answer has `id`, `url`, `transcript` and `transcript_source` (`ai`, or null when there is no transcript); an AI transcript also carries `duration_seconds` and `duration_minutes`. A clip longer than 120 seconds without `allow_long_transcription=true` is a free 400. An unknown clip is a free 404.

06Errors & credits

Every error has success: false, a real HTTP status and costs no credits.
