Transcription job status

GET/v1/transcriptions/{job_id}0 credits

The state of an upload job and, once completed, its timed transcript; with `format` the finished transcript as an SRT, WebVTT or text file. Only the account that uploaded the file sees the job.

01Query parameters

02Pricing

Free: the job's price is taken when it completes (`credits_charged` here is the job's charge).

Common to every endpoint

Any route can answer these: a missing or wrong key, no credits left, the platform not answering, or a failure on our side. None of them costs credits.

05Notes

Answer: `job_id, status` (`queued`, `running`, `completed`, `failed`, `cancelled`), `progress` (0 to 1 while the speech is transcribed in pieces, null when it cannot be measured), `created_at, started_at, finished_at, file_name, file_bytes, duration_seconds, language, format, credits_reserved, credits_charged, error, status_url, result`. `result` is null until completed, then `{origin: asr, language, text, segments[{index, start, end, text}]}`. Another account's job, a deleted or expired one and a malformed id answer 404 `not_found`. A job running when the service restarts is failed and refunded.

06Errors & credits

Every error has success: false, a real HTTP status and costs no credits.

400missing_parameter
A required parameter is missing or invalid.
403private_account
The account is private or age-restricted.
404not_found
No such account.
503upstream_error
The platform did not answer; retry shortly.
