GET/v1/instagram/post1 credit

Returns a single post or reel: caption, media URLs, like and comment counts, play count, owner, location, tagged users, music and the first comments.

01Query parameters

Name	Type	Description
urlrequired	string	Link to the post or reel (`/p/…`, `/reel/…` or `/tv/…`). A bare shortcode also works.
include_play_countoptional	boolean	Set to `false` to skip the reel play count lookup, which makes the call faster; `video_play_count` is then not filled.Default: `true`
trimoptional	boolean	Set to `true` for a slimmer answer that keeps only the most used fields.Default: `false`
cache_max_ageoptional	string	Accepted for compatibility. Every call is fetched fresh, so any allowed value gives the same live answer; any other value is a free 400.Accepted values:`1d3d7d14d30d`

Common to every endpoint

Any route can answer these: a missing or wrong key, no credits left, the platform not answering, or a failure on our side. None of them costs credits.

04Notes

The post is under `data.xdt_shortcode_media`. A deleted or unknown post is a free 404, a URL that is not an Instagram post a free 400, and a post Instagram hides from the public a free 403 (`restricted`).

05Errors & credits

Every error has success: false, a real HTTP status and costs no credits.

400missing_parameter
A required parameter is missing or invalid.
403private_account
The account is private or age-restricted.
404not_found
No such account.
503upstream_error
The platform did not answer; retry shortly.
