Clip Transcript

GET/v1/kick/clip/transcript1 credit

Returns the transcript of a Kick clip's speech. Kick clips have no captions, so text is produced by AI transcription when `use_ai_as_fallback=true`.

01Query parameters

02Pricing

Without `use_ai_as_fallback` the call is free (`transcript: null`). With it: 1 credit for a clip up to 120 seconds; a longer clip needs `allow_long_transcription=true` and costs 10 credits per started minute (otherwise it is a free 400). If no speech is found, the call is free.

Any route can answer these: a missing or wrong key, no credits left, the platform not answering, or a failure on our side. None of them costs credits.

05Notes

The answer has `id`, `url` (the clip's canonical page), `transcript` and `transcript_source` (`ai`, or null without a transcript); with an AI transcript also `duration_seconds` and `duration_minutes`. An unknown clip is a free 404; a URL that is not a Kick clip is a free 400.

06Errors & credits

Every error has success: false, a real HTTP status and costs no credits.
