GET/v1/github/repository1 credit

Returns details of a public GitHub repository: owner, description, language, stars, forks, watchers, open issues, topics, license, default branch and dates.

01Query parameters

Name	Type	Description
urloptional	string	Repository URL, e.g. `https://github.com/golang/go`. Either `url`, or `owner` together with `repo`, is required.
owneroptional	string	Repository owner (user or organization), used together with `repo` when no `url` is given.
repooptional	string	Repository name, used together with `owner` when no `url` is given.

Common to every endpoint

Any route can answer these: a missing or wrong key, no credits left, the platform not answering, or a failure on our side. None of them costs credits.

04Notes

The repository is in the `repository` object; stars are in `stars_count`. An unknown repository is a free 404, a repository GitHub withholds is a free 403, and a URL that is not a GitHub repository is a free 400.

05Errors & credits

Every error has success: false, a real HTTP status and costs no credits.

400missing_parameter
A required parameter is missing or invalid.
403private_account
The account is private or age-restricted.
404not_found
No such account.
503upstream_error
The platform did not answer; retry shortly.
